Each Spring the 60 days from the Full Moon of Aries/Libra through the Full Moon of Taurus/Scorpio to the Full Moon of Gemini/Sagittarius offer us full access to our soul purpose and path.

On Saturday April 12th the Full Moon of the Risen Christ assured all of humanity that suffering, forgiveness and surrender to the will of our Soul inevitably brings Redemption/Ascension. Jesus as the avatar/model of the now ending Piscean Age opened the gateway to end suffering, to ascend to a life of soulful joy.

It is the current ascension into the Heart that is moving humanity, all of us, to end our identification with victimization, to know that pain can heal, that forgiveness can release us from the past guaranteeing a future that is better than we can currently imagine.

Aries/Libra’s Full Moon reminds us that Libra rules the justice system each society chooses. The US justice system is straining under its current focus on “lock ‘em up” jails and prisons placing a financial and social burden on our society; a burden that studies confirm is a proven failure as a deterrent to crime while it successfully hardens inmates’ criminal behavior as they seek to survive the violence and overcrowding in our prisons.

Recent decades have confirmed the inadequacies, injustice and racial bias in our system. Justice is a virtue (Libra) which must see all citizens as deserving due process (Aries, see me as an individual not a statistic) and ideally will take many forms in the future as we move from retributive justice which is based on punishment to a more distributive justice based on an equitable justice for all in society regardless of their wealth or power (this is the form of justice that has been our ideal as we see the statue of Lady Justice blindfolded to demonstrate her responsibility to offer justice equally without fear or favor) to a more restorative form of justice involving the offender, the person harmed and our society as they all focus on the underlying causes of the crime or harm through repayment, mediation and reconciliation allowing resolution and mutual healing.

A more engaged justice system with all being heard, with accountability and responsibility taken by the perpetrators of harm, with dialogue and mediation between the perpetrator and those harmed leading emotionally and honestly to reconciliation and ultimately to forgiveness has and is being tried successfully in many countries.

A more expanded heart choosing conscious forgiveness liberates each person to be free to move toward the Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon on May 12th when the Wesak Ceremony Celebration infuses the now more receptive heart with the spiritual uplift, strength and wisdom to live a more positive, productive and fulfilling year achieving an expanding third eye knowing in all arenas of one’s inner and outer life.
